Round Stake & Strand Basket – Sat 20th August

Working with a mix of brown willow (bark on) and buff willow (bark stripped) when making baskets gives them a rather rustic appearance and texture.  Different varieties of willow can be used to give some contrast in colour.  At this full day workshop you will make a round stake and strand basket, weaving around upright stakes.  Depending on your ability you may be able to add a handle.
