Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Huius ego nunc auctoritatem sequens idem faciam. Tecum optime, deinde etiam cum mediocri amico. Duo Reges: constructio interrete.

Certe, nisi voluptatem tanti aestimaretis. Si enim ad populum me vocas, eum. Ergo illi intellegunt quid Epicurus dicat, ego non intellego? Learn How to Create Beautiful Planting for Every Season: Planning Borders

20th  September 2017
10am – 4pm

In these day long workshops local garden designer Michelle Wake will reveal the planting design process used by the professionals. She will explain a step by step approach that considers the many factors influencing the success of a planting scheme. Practical exercises will help you learn the approach so that you can apply your new planting design skills in your own garden. The beautiful planting in the Garden will be used to illustrate planting design principles and you will hear about the start performers of the season. By the end of the workshop you will have completed a planting design for a small border. Michelle will be happy to take questions about your own garden, if there is time, at the end of the day.

Round Stake & Strand Basket – Sat 20th August

Working with a mix of brown willow (bark on) and buff willow (bark stripped) when making baskets gives them a rather rustic appearance and texture.  Different varieties of willow can be used to give some contrast in colour.  At this full day workshop you will make a round stake and strand basket, weaving around upright stakes.  Depending on your ability you may be able to add a handle.

Tepee Plant Support – Sat 20th August

Come and make a beautiful plant tepee that can vary in size depending on your requirements and your car size!  Hazel or much thicker willow can be used for the uprights to make a more sturdy structure, ideal for climbing beans etc and more substantial plants.  Whereas a lighter, more delicate tepee can be made using all willow, different varieties giving it a lovely two tone effect.  These look beautiful supporting sweet peas or something similar.
