About The Event
Come and practice your pruning skills on the roses at the Walled Garden. With this workshop you will learn how and when to prune roses, fertilise your roses and how to put in place the best pest control strategies to get he best out of your roses. We will also cover how to root your own roses.
Neil Ross is a local gardener and designer with over 30 years experience. After a degree in horticulture he trained in gardening craft at Sissinghurst - the iconic National Trust property before spending several years in New Zealand developing a large country estate and writing for magazines. He has been Head Gardener at St Catherines Court near Bath and teaches RHS courses at Bristol Botanic Gardens as well as teaching students with additional needs at the local community garden project Root Connections.
